The whole source is public, and you can read all of it. It is at
github.com/thomas-hochbichler/obsidian-remarkable-tagged-sync.
The repository carries two licences: everything outside the pro/ directory is Apache
License 2.0, and pro/ — the paid features — is
PolyForm Strict 1.0.0,
which lets you read the code but not change or redistribute it. The LICENSE file in the
repository sets out both.
Tagged Sync Pro — the paid tier — is licensed separately by hochbichler.com - IT Services e.U. under the commercial licence: a perpetual, non-exclusive right for one person to use the paid features, in up to 50 vaults (the same vault on two machines counts twice), granted when the licence key is issued. Buying, refunds and withdrawal
Polar Software Inc. is the seller and merchant of record. The invoice, VAT and the statutory right of withdrawal are handled at the checkout, under Polar’s terms. Because a licence key is delivered immediately, the checkout asks you to waive the 14-day withdrawal right for digital content (Art. 16(m) Consumer Rights Directive) — that waiver is what lets the key be handed over on the spot.
On top of that, my own promise: 14 days, no questions. If Tagged Sync Pro is not what you expected, write to support@hochbichler.com within 14 days of buying and you get your money back. The key is deactivated in return. The only case I would refuse is plain abuse.
